About the Practice
I have been in practice since 1982 and have been located at 168 Spencer Street since April of 1983. I started this practice from “scratch” and now have a wonderful patient population of over 2200. However, despite my large roster, when a patient calls I know them, their family, and usually remember a good deal about their dental care before I even look at their chart. This is the kind of old-fashioned, family dental practice you have joined.
I am the only dentist here. I and along with my other 6 staff members strive to provide you with a wonderful experience while delivering state-of-the-art care. I take pride in my solid, long-term roots here. I was raised only a few miles from my office, my three sons attended high school here, and I have an extended family that has made this area their home.
My staff and I pride ourselves in the delivery of quality, affordable, comprehensive dental care. We continually take postgraduate courses to stay “up to date” on the latest techniques. Our office will be able to provide you with quite an impressive array of services should you need them, including: periodontal therapy, bleaching, minor orthodontics, extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges, removable partial dentures, full dentures, and even the surgical replacement and restoration of dental implants. I hold a Fellowship in Implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and continually increase my education in the area of implantology and bone grafting techniques.
As you can probably tell, I love being a general dentist. I am trained to do ALL of these procedures. I am also very active in the Dental community. I am the past president of the Manchester Dental Society, past member of various committees of the CT State Dental Association including the budget committee, environmental safety committee, and annual scientific session committee. I have been elected to and served on the Connecticut State Dental Society Board of Governors from 2004 to 2007.
